Shauna Shewchuk has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families navigate the legal system with confidence. After earning a Juris Doctor from the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan in 2017, she was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2018. Her legal training is complemented by a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan (2014). Shauna founded Shewchuk Law Office in 2022.
Shauna appears regularly in the Court of King’s Bench in Saskatoon, Battleford and Prince Albert. Shauna also appears in Provincial Court in North Battleford, Lloydminster, Meadow Lake, Pelican Narrows, Buffalo Narrows, La Loche and Swift Current. Access to justice is important to Shauna. She is proud to represent clients from all walks of life, including private clients, Legal Aid clients and those assisted through the Court Appointed Counsel Program.
In addition to her private practice, Shauna leads monthly family law help sessions at the YWCA in Saskatoon in collaboration with the Family Justice Services Branch of the Ministry of Justice, providing valuable legal information and guidance to those in need. Shauna volunteers as a lawyer supervisor for Pro Bono Students Canada. She also volunteers as an alumni judge for the College of Law first year moots at the University of Saskatchewan.
